The chrysanthemum-like stone. All the rare and valuable stones, formed 100 million years ago, are buried deeply under the Liuyang river. In the Qing dynasty, this kind of stone was found by the local people when constructing a dam and the handicraft of carving chrysanthemum stone began. In 1915’s Panama World Exposition, the works of chrysanthemum stone shared the same fame with the Moutai wine and won the gold award.
