In China, there are four renown embroideries, such as Shu embroidery in Sichuan province, Su embroidery in Jiangsu province, Yue embroidery in Guangdong province, and Xiang embroidery in Hunan province. Xiang embroidery is known for its unique pictures, for instance, tiger and lion. All the works are handicrafts and handed down from generation to generation. In 1933’s Chicago World Exposition, an embroidery portrait of Roosevelt shuttled the world. And now it was stored in the Alexander Museum of Chicago.
