In the museum, the Mawangdui Han Tomb is an another historical site regarded as the witness of ancient Changsha city. You will not believe your eyes when you see the well preserved female corpse buried deeply under the ground. In 1970s, the tomb was revealed. Weapons, artifacts, bamboo scripts and vessels were found there, which contributed a lot to the researches on the Changsha’s history. Archaeologists also found many silk objects under the tomb.
